I Love Family and Idaho and Pictures :)

So basically,

Randy and I can't wait to move back to Idaho.

Obviously, it will be awhile.

But we just love it so much.

We love our small town:

...you get the point.

Utah is nice it really is.

Just not for us

So today. I was putting on my makeup and doing my hair and my niece came in and watched me, and wanted some too. So we did makeup and hair together. She is a doll. Not shy AT ALL. Loves everyone and can find anyone to play with. We should all be more like that. Just saying.

And then a nephew comes in and says, "My mom sometimes puts makeup on me too."

It made me laugh out loud.

I love the nephews and nieces I "inherited" by marrying Randy.

I love all darndest things they say and the hilarious made up words, stories, etc.

So fun and so cute.

Today, I took my sister and her friends on a photoshoot for her birthday. Super fun girls. We just went up to Idaho Falls and walked around taking pictures.

I changed my major to Photography.

I'm happy...except not looking forward to the drawing class. . . . hahaha I'm not so good at that.

Almost done!

So I'm pretty much regretting that last post. In fact- I'm deleting it. Sometimes it just feels good to let it all out. I apologize to those who read it. We were just having so much going on and it was so frustrating.

BUT-

It's almost reveal time of all the painting and carpeting. (it's not going to be AMAZING, but it's a change.)

What we've been up to:
Keegan called Sunday. It was so good to hear his voice and talk for a bit. I only got to talk to him for literally 2-3 minutes. But it's all good. My parents were the ones that really needed to talk to him and ask him questions.

Randy started his summer semester. He's glad he's not taking a ton of classes because his Physics class is killing him!

We planted our flower bed. It looks so good!

We started our vegetable/fruit garden, but we still have lots to do!

We've got new carpet in and it's luxurious ;)

We've got all the rooms but our bathroom painted.

I'll be starting school in the fall and really I'm already half way done. All my classes transferred and it was SHWEET!

hmmmmm that's really all. We're kind of lame :)

Fast

So randy and I tend to make decisions pretty quick. It tends to throw people off guard. For example, we went to the paint store, decided on paint, and was out of there 20 minutes later. We just bought 2 road bikes after riding on them for 5-10 minutes. Those are just some examples, but it tends to happen on an everyday basis. We decided to buy the house fast and decided to be engaged fast. Pretty fast paced decisions. But there early hasn't been any decisions I regret, we regret. I just thought it was pretty odd.

Ten thousand things at once!!!

Alrighty peeps. So right now I should be editing pictures for a wedding I did at the beginning-ish of March. I'm horrible I know. Or I should be sleeping. Or I should be taping the walls because we're painting the house as much as we can tomorrow and Saturday. We will be getting carpet in 2-3 weeks and can I just say how EXCITED I am?!?! Very.

Hmmm...what else is new??

Well...I applied and got into UVU (not that hard...open enrollment) but I think I'm going to change my major. This is a pretty big deal folks. But I'm still trying to decide. Originally it was going to be Dental Hygiene, but I want to change it to.....(drumroll please....).....Photography!

Which is kind of a big deal.

I love the photo class I have right now. It's challenging and I'm learning so much. I hope to just learn more and more about photography and post processing.

Well that's all I have time for. Time to snuggle with the hubs.

Bittersweet

So here we are in Idaho. Great to be home, but under the circumstances, it's sad.

My Grandma passed away a day ago. It was so great, but hard to say goodbye. When you're growing up, or at least this may just be me, you feel like your grandparents are invincible and should never go away. I had a harder time with my Grandpa dying I think because I saw my Grandma suffer through the loss. But it will hit soon I know it.

Also, my dear friend Rebecca got hitched a month ago and because her hubs is a marine, they just barely had their reception. It was SO cute and she looked amazing. I'm so happy for them. Marriage is the ish and I love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Love is the coolest thing I've ever witnessed, felt and enjoyed. It's amazing and incredible and hard to explain!

Welp, I cut my hair! I love it. I wanted more layers and bangs. Each time I cut my bangs, I think, "Why did I just do that, because they are always in my face." But they look really good :) Thanks to the Sister in Law.

Welp, life is moving on. Work is good, photography is going great. I've just started a photography class and I love it so far. Photography is so cool and lets me show people how I see the world and what I think is beautiful, fun and what I enjoy looking at. I'm going to go into UVU and see what I can do to attend and get into the Dental Hygiene program in February.  If I don't get in, I'm going to focus on Photography. I feel like I've wrestled enough with Dental Hygiene. But we'll see.

I'm getting baby hungry. Any of you married folks in the same boat??? I'm just ready to start a familia with my cute husband. :)

hmmmmmm Home renovation soon. We're picking out carpet and paint right now! Can't wait for the weather to warm up and the semester to be over and we're just going to crank it out.

Aaaaiiiigghhttt.

Today was crazy. At 8 this morning, a lady came in to take our blood samples, urine samples and weight/height for life insurance. Bleh. I used to be all about needles, but now I can't even look at them. I get nauseas and can't watch. Then....At 9:30 A lady came in to take our blood samples, urine samples and weight/height. That's right. TWICE this morning. We looked like junkies. But turns out I'm 10 lbs lighter and 2 inches higher than normal. I'll take it.

SO life is good! I'm taking a photography class. Can I get a what what?! :) I'm excited. That goes for 6 weeks from march to april. Then april, I'll be starting at BYU as a visiting student...if I can get the classes I want. Then in the fall I'll most likely be going to UVU to finish prerequisites for dental hygiene. I'm planning on taking more photography and photoshop classes. I feel like I could go so far.

I feel like this year is going to be a good year.

1. We'll be re-doing our house. Paint, Carpet, decorating. I can't wait! I just love DI shopping and looking for makeovers. Yay Yay Yay. I'll be sure to do before and after vids/pictures.

2. I'll be starting school again. Good...and not looking forward to it :)

3. I feel like my photography is going to take off. I'm working on a website and hope it goes well.

4. So much growing and learning! Cooking and cleaning, life as I know it :)
