Bittersweet

So here we are in Idaho. Great to be home, but under the circumstances, it's sad.

My Grandma passed away a day ago. It was so great, but hard to say goodbye. When you're growing up, or at least this may just be me, you feel like your grandparents are invincible and should never go away. I had a harder time with my Grandpa dying I think because I saw my Grandma suffer through the loss. But it will hit soon I know it.

Also, my dear friend Rebecca got hitched a month ago and because her hubs is a marine, they just barely had their reception. It was SO cute and she looked amazing. I'm so happy for them. Marriage is the ish and I love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Love is the coolest thing I've ever witnessed, felt and enjoyed. It's amazing and incredible and hard to explain!

Welp, I cut my hair! I love it. I wanted more layers and bangs. Each time I cut my bangs, I think, "Why did I just do that, because they are always in my face." But they look really good :) Thanks to the Sister in Law.

Welp, life is moving on. Work is good, photography is going great. I've just started a photography class and I love it so far. Photography is so cool and lets me show people how I see the world and what I think is beautiful, fun and what I enjoy looking at. I'm going to go into UVU and see what I can do to attend and get into the Dental Hygiene program in February.  If I don't get in, I'm going to focus on Photography. I feel like I've wrestled enough with Dental Hygiene. But we'll see.

I'm getting baby hungry. Any of you married folks in the same boat??? I'm just ready to start a familia with my cute husband. :)

hmmmmmm Home renovation soon. We're picking out carpet and paint right now! Can't wait for the weather to warm up and the semester to be over and we're just going to crank it out.

Well.....That's about all for now.

Peace and blessins'

p.s. I just changed the name and domain name for my photography blog. It's now www.Kayleighsearlephoto.blogspot.com

CHECK IT OUT OUT OUT!!!!

Aaaaiiiigghhttt.

Today was crazy. At 8 this morning, a lady came in to take our blood samples, urine samples and weight/height for life insurance. Bleh. I used to be all about needles, but now I can't even look at them. I get nauseas and can't watch. Then....At 9:30 A lady came in to take our blood samples, urine samples and weight/height. That's right. TWICE this morning. We looked like junkies. But turns out I'm 10 lbs lighter and 2 inches higher than normal. I'll take it.

SO life is good! I'm taking a photography class. Can I get a what what?! :) I'm excited. That goes for 6 weeks from march to april. Then april, I'll be starting at BYU as a visiting student...if I can get the classes I want. Then in the fall I'll most likely be going to UVU to finish prerequisites for dental hygiene. I'm planning on taking more photography and photoshop classes. I feel like I could go so far.

I feel like this year is going to be a good year.

1. We'll be re-doing our house. Paint, Carpet, decorating. I can't wait! I just love DI shopping and looking for makeovers. Yay Yay Yay. I'll be sure to do before and after vids/pictures.

2. I'll be starting school again. Good...and not looking forward to it :)

3. I feel like my photography is going to take off. I'm working on a website and hope it goes well.

4. So much growing and learning! Cooking and cleaning, life as I know it :)

ALI-Recipe swap sounds swell. :)

Well this sounds good for now.

Peace and Blessins

Thirty Day Challenge--Abort???

So I realize that I don't spend a whole lot of time blogging anymore, so I've decided enough with the thirty day challenge. Now you know more about me, probably more than you wanted, but it's always fun to get to know people a little bit better.

So. Life is busy.

I just have too much to do to even be blogging right now. Like sleep.

A little update.

Work is SO much better. I told my boss why I was miserable and it's been so much better. But because of it, they gave me a lot more hours. So I have a lot less time to do everything else. I just need like one day off and I'm good. But the money is nice.

Growing up is hard to do.

My favorite line of a song, "Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up."
True dat.

Laundry is everywhere and husband was sick with the flu with nosebleeds and nightsweats. Nasty stuff. So we've resorted to the guest room til he gets better so that I don't have to wash our sheets EVERYNIGHT.
(Don't worry. It will be spick and span when you all come to visit...ehhem all married friends. And unmarried.)
p.s. ali...loved the video and the plug for the guest room. ^This was a weak attempt at that.

So ya. Laundry.

And we've been married a whole 6 months! HOLY CANNOLI!

It's the best. Really.
Wouldn't trade it for anything. I love him more and more everyday and I'm so lucky to be married!
Even if it comes with transitions and bumps in the road.

So my photography is starting to take off. Yippee!!!

Randy's birthday was last week. 22!!

So we celebrated with all his mission/college buddies. I was the only female. Randy was sick most of the time.

But he did get to do this before his illness.

Yupp. I married a crazy. Wouldn't have it any other way.
I made him promise me at church in Island Park (sacrament was 50 minutes long because there was so many people there) that he would make me laugh for the rest of eternity and not be a grumpy bum because he makes me laugh all the time being goofy and our inside jokes. We learn more about each other everyday. And...I love his smile. It makes me happy.

The end.

Peace and Blessings

Day 15-A person I admire

Someone that I really admire? My mother. Of course! We are so much alike. She has raised me so well and through thick and thin has helped me through so much. I can tell her anything and she has helped so much with me being married and all the questions I have.

AND

My mother in law. The patience she has. The skill she has. The cooking she did. How she always took care of everyone and still does. Amazing woman for sure. I want to be like her. :)

Guilty pleasure has been revealed.

I realized my guilty pleasure: ADTR
The band A Day to Remember

My favorite song ^

A lot of people are suprised when they find out I like them because they're a little intense! But they help me when I have a bad day...just let all the aggression out! :)
And I just LOVE his voice. SO good!

Day 13: Guilty Pleasures....Skipping. Day 14: A vacation I'd like to take

I had a really hard time with this post because I had no idea what kind of guilty pleasures I had or if I even had some!
So I'm actually going to skip it. I really don't have any that are coming to mind!
So onto Day 14!

A Vacation I'd like to take:
IRELAND!

My dad served his mission there and it just looks SO pretty and with so much culture. It would be so amazing.
So that's where I would go!

Day 12-A song you would like played at your wedding or played at your wedding

At our wedding, we didn't have a set song that was "our song." But what was played at our wedding?
SUNNY CHOI

(Call me naughty for picking that song, but I think it's beautiful.)
Here's another great one.

Basically she takes the top songs from the radio and makes them somewhat classical and beautiful.

So we were pretty hardcore by playing the most bumpin' hits at our wedding :)

Youtube her.
