CHEEZ-ITS!

Can I just say that it's been such an amazing week!? Also one of the most bizarre...I'll explain

First things first: Our dishwasher hass rabies!!!!
I put liquid dish soap in it and foam leaked covering our entire kitchen in foam. My mom never taught me that you're not supposed to do that...So I blame her!! :) (I have awesome video footage of it, but I have no idea how to put it in a post.)

Justine, Zach, Bayba and I went to a blacklight party at an apartment and it was SO fun! We covered ourselves with liquid detergent (who knew it glowed in blacklights????) and highlighters and danced the night away!! It was intense. We plan on doing one...O yes!! We shall party!

I went on lots of dates this week too! There was one that was super creative! So he made a CD and each song related to something that we could do. So the first one was a snow song, so we went and played in the snow. The next was ice cream, so we went to Wingers and got those warm skillet things (like fazookies) and they were amazing. We made bucketlists, danced the night away on the top of the hill, played card games, and so many more fun things. It was creative!

Hmmmmm what else happened?? O! Today (Sunday), we got pranked!! By a man in a white beanie! We started chasing him and his friend in our car, but they got away :( We decided that we are now going to prank someone each Sunday. New tradition! So we went and got our friends, but as soon as we started to do so, someone was walking out the door so we all scattered and ran away. Ali and I were running and trying to jump down the steps, but there were more than I anticipated, and her! She biffed it hardcore, I wish SO badly that I had recorded it because we were all dying laughing....SOOOOOO hard!!! We got another friend instead by putting marshmallows on their door with peanutbutter and getting their attention by throwing snowballs at their window. We are so good right?! So it's FREEZING in Rexburg!!!(As you can see) HAHAHA that's not right, his thermometer was broken. It certainly feels like it though sometimes! Goodness!!

So life is going really good! My mom and I went to the DI and found some awesome clothes. I'm so excited to wear them! I got this dress though (and love it) but I felt like a prego wearing it, SOOOOOO we took pictures of me, looking pregnant! Sorry it's sideways, but it's funny huh! It will be awhile before that ever happens! Trust me!!

Well, again I just have to say how grateful and blessed I really am. I have so many amazing people in my life and I'm so blessed to have the examples in my life that I do. My roommate Ali especially. She has such a great spirit and light about her and is never afraid to bear her testimony or set things straight when I'm drifting off. It's nice to have people like that in your life. I'm grateful for the teachings of my priesthood leaders. We had an amazing fireside tonight about finding an eternal companion. While I'm actually thoughrouly annoyed by all the marriage talk 24/7, it had some amazing insights and things that I will really take to heart. I'm grateful for good teachers, friends and family that encourage us to do right.

I love my life. I really am so blessed and couldn't ask for a better one. My roommates are like my sisters and I really do love them. I've been lucky. When you live right and do what you know you're supposed to, everything just happens to fall into place. It's amazing the miracles and tender mercies that occur!

p.s. I forgot to mention that Ali and I are now members of the Student Spirit Events council and I get to plan I-Night! It's going to be so amazing!

p.p.s: Last night (tuesday night), A man in black scared the life outta me by running past our window...and I sceramed BLOODY MURDER...I was SOOOOOO Scared!! Poor Ali. She had no idea what was going on hahahahaha

p.p.p.s: It was my FHE brothers...we've made an alliance! And the prank wars BEGIN!

First Week of my Second Semester at BYU-I do!

This week has been CRAZY!! Ali and I got to Rexburg the day before we were supposed to check-in so that we could help out the freshman for Get Connected. It was a tiring, stressful, fun, exciting, hilarious, adventurous, awesome experience. I have made so many new friends just because of Student Spirit Events and this semester already is ten times better than the last. WOOOHOOOO!!

Well the first day, Ali and I invited our iTeams over to our little apartment for games. It was packed! But it was nice to have so many friends over and get to have fun! Of course the 3rd floor of the library has been fun as well...You make so many new friends up there as you "study." :) My first day of classes was freaky. Because of Get Connected, I had to rush to buy my books and get all the supplies and I didn't even have time to find my classes and do a little pre-tour so that I would know where to go to my 7:45 am chemistry class (sucky right..I know!) So I get to a Chemistry class and I'm sitting there with about 5 minutes til the class begins and I look down at my hand where I had written the class number on it and noticed that I wasn't in that room! So I rushed out of there and tried to find the other one. I get there and a woman walks in....I KNOW that my teacher was supposed to be a male. So i wait for her to call roll and my name isn't on there and I'm thinking POOP! Am I supposed to just sit here!? So I get up andI'm walking out and she asked if I was in the wrong class. I told her I was and that I was looking for a Bro. Zaugg. She said he was right next door. So I look around and he is NOT right next door. So I go back to the first class I was in, and it was the right one! Just my LUCK! :P

I just can't describe just how happy, lucky and blessed I really am. My roommates rock, my friends are hilarious and I'm truly loving life right now!

My VERY MUCH NEEDED Christmas Break

Well well well. My christmas break has come to an end officially today and now it's time to get back to work. I get to go back 4 days early to go help the freshman with Get Connected. I'm super excited and hope to have a great time with it!

My first week was very good. I got to just relax after all those finals and wait for my grades. They were finally posted on Christmas Eve...Great present right?? I did ok. I know that I need to do better next semester. My friends and I had a black and white christmas party and that was an absolute blast. I have FANTASTIC friends! Well Christmas Eve was great. I was able to get together with most of my family (some were on missions, married, etc.). Regardless, it was fun. I do love my family and all the quirky fun moments we have. I found out my cousin's niece knows basically every song on the radio and she did a little show for me singing songs like Down and Replay and the best one Tik Tok. Hilarious. Especially when she danced. What a character :) Of course we did the Nativity. I think I was the oldest one participating, but I think it's important and I love it. I was a shepard.

Christmas Day was the best. I am so blessed. I got just what I needed plus some and I'm so grateful. My favorite gift though was from Randy. He sent me a video he made while he was bored at the mission office. He's assistant to the president now and while he stays busy in the daytime, nights are slow. So he made me a video that made me laugh, cry and excited for hisreturn in March. I can't WAIT! :) :) :)
The day after Christmas we went to the movie theater to watch the Blindside. AMAZING MOVIE. I definitely recommend it for sure. The rest of the break has been pertty awesome. I went and visited the Searle's as well and I sure love them. They make me feel like a Million bucks :)

So I also donated plasma for the first time. Definitely a weird experience. So I went in and they did an extensive physical and interrogation (or so it felt) process. I finally got into the back to donate after two hours. I had to prick my finger and that's the part that honestly hurt the worst. I also had to do a urine sample...WHAT THE!?! It was crazy. But the actual process is bizarre. It's just like donating blood exept they pump it back in every 10 minutes. To actually understand you just have to do it. I got $25 dollars this time, but next time I get $35. Bring on the money!! :) I dunno if you can tell...but i actually got really bruised up :( BOOOO!

New Years Eve was a blast. I honestly thought that I would just sit at home and pack for college (which I was most ok with), but I went to the 14-18 yr. stake dance to watch a friend and his band play (*cough* they're amazing!!! *cough*). I guess there was one for the singles 18-30...but I didn't know..and it might have been weird (I'm just sayin'...). I ended up staying the whole time and I loved it. We had another friend there that was our age so we didn't feel as weird being the only "oldies" there. After awhile, we just told people we were chaperones lol. Amazing time though. Love new years!

This year will be amazing. I have so many great things coming up and I can't wait for them. I have lots of goals, but I just have to do them one step at a time! Randy gets home in March, I will complete my first "year" of college, I'll turn 20 years old (that is most bizarre...) and many other awesome things.

Come what may and LOVE it.
