Longest. Post. Ever.

Well well well. It's been awhile since I've posted anything. So here it goes!

First things first: LOVE LIFE :)
Randy and I have been engaged for about 2 1/2 months now and we still have bout 2 months to go....TOO LONG! We got our engagement pictures done and we love em!! :)
Here's a couple to gaze upon.

I'm keeping the rest a secret until our engagements come out. Can't ruin the suspense! Wedding plans are coming together nicely. I have my dress which i'm borrowing....and it's AMAZING. I'm so blessed!! We have the ties for the men and dresses for the little girls. We've got most of the decorations for the reception. Now it's just on to making lists of people to attend the temple, reception, etc. LONGEST THING TO DO EVER. It's taking awhile...I apologize :S
Well another awesome thing is that we bought his sisters house and I love it!
Whoohoo!!! I can't wait to move in! Randy is down there in Provo right now for school so I'll join him in August! We also went a test drove cars. O that was fun! Randy's doing all he can to make sure we will be taken care of by reading the Total Money Makeover. (Great book by the way.)He's just about the most amazing fiancée a girl could ask for. I could go on for days about him. I'm just glad he's all mine!

Work life:
BOOOOOOOOOOO! My jobs are great. I mean there are some days that I wanna scream and cry but I can't cuz people would think I'm a freak. So I guess I'll hold it in. :)
Well Dinky's and Famous Dave's are going pretty good. I work ALOT. I work 5 days for Dave's and about 2-3 for Dinky's and it's always nice to get a break. It brings in the money though which is VERY nice. Yipee! I'd tell ya how much, but I don't wanna get robbed so wo is you.

Everything in between life:
ALISON BLAIRE PIERSON. One of the best friends I've had is getting married this weekend!! I'm so stoked and excited! And jealous, but we'll keep that on the down low. ;) Her fiancée is so perfect for her and I wish them the best of luck!
So the days that I don't work, I lay out in the sun so I don't look like an albino because I'm inside all day. I love that Vitamin D! ( ooooo check this out!!!)
That's me and Randy, getting Vitamin D! :)
So I went with Randy to this Dr. Orchard man. I've heard great things about him from his family, they swear by him. He's a Chiropractor/Nature Path man. He uses like natural remedies. Well I went in and he popped my back. WHOOOOO! That was fun to listen to. I should say he adjusted my whole body. He popped joints I didn't know existed. Then because I've had some seriously weird breaking out, he told me my liver was filled with toxins and that I needed to take this Spanish Black Radish, which smells horrible. But it's working so i don't care! Randy wants to follow in this doctors footsteps. That could be a blessing. :)
Hmmmmmm. Not too much other things going on. Besides I'm the worst friend in the world and never write my best friend while he's serving the Lord. I apologize. OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH! Keegan has sent his papers in!! WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT!!! Hopefully I don't work when he opens it :(
Well I'll end on this note. Last night, which was a Sunday (but don't judge me), I had to work and I was just having a really hard time because Randy had just left for Provo and I had to work and everything AT work was just going wrong and I felt like I was the most horrible waitress possible. Well, I was praying really, really, really hard last night let me tell ya. While I was cleaning off plates in the dish pit, I realized I was singing a song in my head. "Be still", by Hilary Weeks.
Here's a video with the song in it. I didn't make the video. It's so cool because it's a girl pleading and then Heavenly Father's response. But I love the words.
Girl: Another day

I'll try again

But can you tell me

Will the hurting ever end?

I've been taught

And I believe

But it's been awhile

Since I've been on my knees

But I need you by my side

I don't have the strength

To make it on my own

And Lord, do you hear my prayer

How soon will you answer me?

Heavenly father: I know you're weary

I know you've had all you can bear

And now you ask of me on bended knee

I promise I'll be there

I've watched you struggle

Yet I can see how much you've grown

Child, could you feel my power in your darkest hour?

You were not alone

Be still and know that I am God

I'm by your side

Whom shall you fear

I'll give you strength my child

I am here

Be still and know that I am God

And there's no prayer

That I don't hear

Lift up your head

My child

I am here

I just remember feeling like "Kayleigh, I'm here with you and it's ok." I felt the spirit so strong, even in a place where I didn't think it was possible and I almost started crying. But the rest of the night went really well and I actually made a TON of money. I'm very blessed. I'm thankful for a Father who listens and answers prayers and a savior that knows the pain and the sad feelings I feel.
Which reminds me. I have a talk next Sunday about the Savior that I need to do! And a piano solo to prepare!

I just feel like life is so busy and It's really hard sometimes when I have to miss things or sacrifice, but I know it will be worth it in the end. :)

Welp, told ya it was long.

peace and blessin's :)

p.s. I burn like 4000 calories a day at work I swear. My jeans are all loose. I'm 3 lbs. away from my original weight!!!! woot woot!

Anytime Fitness, Blustery Days and a Gypsy Fiance

So my life has been pretty nonchalant lately. I go to bed around 9 or 10 and wake up around 8. My friend told me that my grandma-like behavior is because I'm getting married. Hmmmm...could be!
Well I've been working hard to get into shape...I'm ashamed to admit that I did gain my freshman 15! GAH! But whatever--I'm only human right!? So I'm trying to get all beautiful before the big day with the help of my gym Anytime Fitness.
I LOVE THE PLACE. I totally recommend it to everyone. Their equipment is so good and they have everything. PLUS...their treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes have tv's on them. Totally keeps you distracted and before you know it, you've jogged 10 miles! (Not really, but it does help keep the mind off the exercising :]) But 5 lbs. so far!! Stupid female body and fluctuations. It's really hard to get up in the morning and go. I would honestly love to just sleep--but you don't lose weight that way! Wish me luck!
Idaho. Weather. Sucks.
Why do I live here?!?! I literally feel like that dog. It's SO windy!!! And freezing.
Dear Summer,
I think you are the bees knees and I would love to see you! The cold weather is really bothering me but when you come around, everything is better. You bring so much fun like boating, swimming, barbecues, sunbathing, bonfires, exploring, swinging, flowers, green grass and blue skies, camping and so much more. Please come back. We all miss you.
Sincerely,
Kayleigh

O yes. Summer is bliss.
So Randy has been a trip for about three weeks now and doesn't get back until next Wednesday. He's literally driven across the country and seen all the sites like Mt. Rushmore, Council Bluffs, New York City and DC to name a few. It's the pits. He's called everyday and that's been really, really nice. It's nice now to be able to talk everyday compared to a letter every so often, so it's very good. But still lame... :( I sure do miss him.

And one last thing...
I
LOVE
PICNIK!
http://www.picnik.com/
Try it.
I upgraded so that I could do even more super cool things like layering and more fonts. I've been working on ideas for my brothers graduation announcements. Here's some ideas:

It's basically the best photo editing program. (Actually, I've never used Photoshop so I really don't know--All I know is that I love this one!)
Well online world, I must say goodbye. Peace and Blessin's
p.s. I got the wire on my retainer cut off, so now I don't look like a 12 year old! Yay!!

ENGAGED!! :)

So yes I'm engaged! :) Three weeks after Randy got home from his mission in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he popped the question. Let me tell you about it...
Randy and I dated for 6 months before his mission and we wrote back and forth very faithfully throughout the mission. When he got home, it felt like he had never left and the month he's been home has felt like many months have gone by. I've loved every second of being with him. The second weekend after he had gotten home, Randy picked me up from Rexburg and we drove up to his cabin in Island Park, which gave us a lot of time to talk. We talked about all our goals and what things we expected for our future. On the way up, he kept telling me to pray that the clouds would go away because it was a really cloudy night and he wanted the stars out to see our constellation, Orions belt. When we finally got there, the clouds had parted and all the stars were out. So we went outside and he looks at me and says, "Kayleigh, I love you." I was SO happy! I knew that I loved him and was so glad that the feelings were mutual ;) So we continued talking and marriage would always come up, mostly on my part. I think we both knew that we'd get married, but we didn't know when. He always told me that we wouldn't get engaged until after he got home from a month long trip.
Randy and I decided to go snowmobiling before all the snow melted and he wanted to get in all the riding he could before it warmed up. So we took off and were taking pictures of him jumping and being crazy. We then went to the top of the mountain, on Two Top in Island Park. (Before his mission, the weekend before, we went up there and had taken pictures up on the top of the mountain. The picture we took up there was my favorite of me and Randy so we were basically going up to "recreate" the moment.)
So on top of the mountain, Randy and I were standing with our nose and forehead touching, just hugging and stuff. "Kayleigh Ann Huntsman." (WHAT?! He just said my full name, what is going on!!?) "Is this your favorite place?" I told him it was, but it was really windy and I didn't like it at the moment. (I'm dumb I know, don't judge me...) "Can I make it your favorite place?" (AHHHHHH!!!) The next little moments were kind of a blur. He got on his knee and asked if I would marry him. He said I didn't say yes, but I swear I did! I remember nodding and kinda freaking out in my head. The ring....BEAUTIFUL! He picked it out kinda by himself (I showed him pictures of what i liked, but we never "looked at rings" together).
The ride down, I was so happy. Nothing could have ruined that day. Even when we got lost for 3 hours, I was still happy. We got back to the cabin and we were all exhausted, but all I wanted to do was look at all the pictures we took up on the mountain. (We got the whole proposal documented....good planning babe.) Now it's onto stressful wedding planning! :S The next couple of days I was really sore, but it was good memories for sure. I will never forget that day!
I'm so excited to spend eternity with the love of my life. He is so good and helps me be the best I can be. His family is so awesome and I love every minute I get to spend with them. I get nieces and nephews that I already love so much. I'm so blessed.

Quote of the Day

I've been hearing this one over and over and I KNOW that it's true from experience. Try it out :)

The RM

GAH!!! So this Thursday, Randall Charles Searle got home. Best day of my life :) The 2 years seem to have flown by, but in the long run, it was a LONG time. It's just nice to finally have him home. I'll post more about it later. I just had to post the good news. I've missed him lots and I'm so glad he's home.

MY LIFE!!!! :)

The title there is a direct quote from the lovely Alison Blaire Pierson. Our lives lately have just been so amazing that I sometimes just expect to wake up and have it be a dream.
First off, It's warming up!! Spring is almost here and it makes me so happy!! I love the sun and after months of cold dreariness, my spirits are lifted!
This is me in a nutshell.
Second, I just love how things can be so joyous and can be going right in one part of your life and that happiness and joy from it spreads out to everything else. I do believe that other's joy and happiness can affect you as well. That's why you need to surround yourself with positive people and people thate uplift you. People that make you happy. I have lots of those special friends in my life and I'm so grateful for them. To those individuals--Thank you :)
Third, service is SO amazing. Helping others and putting myself last makes me so happy because I'm focusing more on their needs and troubles instead of my own and I'm lost in the Lord's love for them. Get Prepared council has helped me so much in giving me service opportunities and I know that for the time that I am here at BYU-Idaho, I will be involved with that. I love it SO much. The members, the students we help and all the ones we serve make it worth it.
Fourth, The church is so true--it amazes me. It seems like I've had so many eye opening experiences where my testimony is strengthened and my eyes are opened to the awesomeness that the gospel of Jesus Christ provides for us. I'm so grateful for the BYU-I devotionals and their messages. Multiple times I have recieved answers and it awes me that the Lord is so aware of my needs and that the speakers know that they need to speak about those certain things. GAH! It's incredible.
Fifth, I LOVE LAUGHTER. I love happiness and I love Joy. Smiles are awesome and I highly recommend them. :)
Sixth, I LOVE MUSIC. OOOOOO my stars do I love music. Right now I'm listening to Little Secrets by Passion Pit and I'm so happy right now. Music has magical powers I've decided. Wouldn't you agree?? Seventh, I love Dragon Boys. They rock my world!!!

School is going alright. Chemistry is blowing my brains out...I'll have to retake it again so that I can feel confident with it. It will just be annoying to have to do the labs again...bleh...And I hope to take it at a later time in the day for Pete's sake. the 7:45 am class is KILLING me. Otherwise, it's keeping me busy and I need to be less lazy and work hard. I'm excited for the upcoming break and being off track. I need to look for a job though! (Now I'm listening to Don't Cry Out by Shiny Toy Guns...And I'm happy once again.) It'll be a weird transition back to home life. I'll miss my roommates. I love them so much. O MY GOODNESS!! :) So I hooked up my roommate from last semester with one of my good friends...They are now engaged!!!!! I'm awesome I know...Now I need to do that for myself!!!

AAANNNNNDDDDD the best news?! The elder gets back in 12 days....HOLY 12 DAYS!! That is so crazy. I'm nervous/excited/stressed/ecstatic/everything. It's going to be awkward I know it...But it's ok. I just got to get know him again! I've changed a ton and I know that he has too. But I know that for me it's been  for the better and of course he has so it should be quite swell!!! O life!! :)
Well blogging world, It's been a pleasure. Until next time...Peace and Blessings...Peace..and..Blessings.
